About the Trustees
The Trustees of the FIL UK Pension Plan represent the interests of members. They act independently of the company, have their own advisers and are responsible for ensuring that:
- The plan is run properly;
- Members’ investments are held separately from Fidelity’s;
- The company collects the correct contributions at the right time;
- Members’ money is invested in the way they want it to be;
- Members can receive the benefits they are entitled to.
The Plan has nine Trustees – five, including the Chair, are nominated by the company and three are nominated by the members. You can find out more about the individual Trustees in this guide.
The Trustees have produced a number of documents for members including the Statement of Investment Principles (SIP), the Chair's Statement including information on value for members, and details on costs and charges. You can find all of these by visiting the Costs and Charges page.
Trustee webcasts
From time to time, the Trustees will hold webcasts to keep members informed and engaged about the Plan. These are pre-recorded sessions where representatives from the Board will cover topical items and guidance. Click on the links below to watch past webcasts.
