Ever wondered exactly where your pension savings go when they leave your payslip? We’ve partnered with a FinTech company, Tumelo, to develop the Fidelity Illuminate sustainable investing tool. It gives you transparency about where your pension savings are invested, and a voice on the environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues that matter to you.
Your pension savings are invested in funds, which invest in companies. Discover what proportion of your savings is invested in each company. You can also find out more about them, and what they do.
Fund managers can vote at company Annual General Meetings (AGMs). With Fidelity Illuminate you can tell your fund manager how you’d like them to vote by giving your opinion on topics you care about.
Results are available after the AGM, and you can view these in the tool. New vote options are added regularly, so be sure to keep an eye out for more opportunities to make your voice heard.
Important information: When you vote on Illuminate (Powered by Tumelo), you're expressing an opinion, not voting. The managers of investment funds have the right to vote at the Annual General Meetings (AGMs) of companies that funds invest in. As it's your money invested in those funds your opinion on those companies matters, which is something fund managers might consider when they vote at companies' AGMs.
It's quick and easy to get set up - and you only need to do it once:
- Log in to PlanViewer
- Go to 'Plan details' → 'View your investments'
- Scroll down and click 'Go to Fidelity Illuminate'
